    The City of Oklahoma City offices will close, and most City services will not be available on June 24 to accommodate the City’s historic Champions Parade. City services will resume on June 25.

    On Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Council adopted City Manager Craig Freeman’s 2026 budget. The budget book can be reviewed at okc.gov/budget. Due to slow revenue growth, City departments were directed to propose a budget reduction.

    Today, the Oklahoma City Council voted to name a popular OKC Soccer complex after business leader and philanthropist C.B. Cameron. C.B. Cameron and his father, C.W. Cameron, co-founded American Fidelity and First Fidelity Bank. C.B. died in an airplane crash in 1977.

    Construction is underway on a new 4-acre park in northeast Oklahoma City. The former Dewey Elementary School, 3500 N. Lindsay Ave., was purchased by the City of Oklahoma City in December 2024 from Oklahoma City Public Schools to develop a new park in Ward 7.

    Oklahoma City Council approved a construction contract this week for the next package of MAPS 4 Bike Lanes as part of the $22 million dedicated to bike facility improvements across Oklahoma City. Bike lane locations were selected based on the bikewalkokc plan.
