  • TRAFFIC ALERT: Portions of Melrose Lane to Close for Water Line Installation near Rockwell Ave.; Work begins Tues., May 27

    Starting at 5 a.m. on Tues., May 27, a 400-foot section of Melrose Lane west of Rockwell Ave. will close as contractors working for the Oklahoma City Utilities Department begin replacing a one-mile stretch of 42-inch water main. This is the first phase of a larger project to replace the water main.

    City Council approves MAPS 4 Beautification master plan

    Oklahoma City Council voted today to approve a master plan for the MAPS 4 Beautification project. MAPS 4 includes $32.9 million to help improve the appearance of Oklahoma City with targeted investments in beautification, including $5 million for an operating fund to provide permanent staff.

  • UPDATE - OKC Streetcar service interruption May 27-30, bus shuttles available

    The Oklahoma City Streetcar will temporarily be suspended from May 27 to 30 so OG&E can disconnect power from the former Myriad Convention Center, 1 Myriad Gardens. The rescheduled work is being done to support the center’s demolition and make way for the construction of the new Paycom Center.
