Oracle Purchasing Training

Oracle Redwood Launch: What's Changing?
Overview: The City is rolling out a new Redwood user interface for Oracle Recruiting, Performance Management, and Learning. This upgrade, scheduled to begin in May, will enhance functionality and user experience.
While the timeline for General Pay Plan performance evaluations remains unaffected, there will be minor adjustments to the FY 24-25 Management and Executive performance evaluation timeline.
Key Dates:
- May 1: Redwood User Interface will launch in production.
- May 9: Performance documents for annual reviews will be generated.
- May 9-31: Employees may complete recommended self-evaluations.
- June 1-30: Managers will complete required performance reviews.
- July 1-31: Managers will share performance documents and provide final feedback.
- August 1-31: Managers/employees will add goals for FY 25-26 review period.
Manager Action Steps:
By April 25, managers (who have not already done so) must complete the following tasks to prepare for the interface launch:
- General Pay Plan Positions: Establish performance goals for CY 2025.
- Management and Executive Pay Plan Positions: Establish performance goals for FY 24-25 and complete mid-year reviews.
