If you’re looking to connect with a new best friend from an early age, our Foster-to-Adopt program is for you.

This program is for young pets who aren’t yet ready for spay/neuter surgery, either because they’re still too young or need to gain weight.

To participate, visit the OKC Animal Shelter, 2811 SE 29th St, Tuesday through Friday, from noon to 5 p.m. to meet eligible litters. You’ll choose at least two pets from the same litter to take home, allowing you time to get to know them. When they reach the right age and weight, bring them back to the Shelter so we can complete all required medical care. Afterward, you’ll decide which pet will officially become part of your family.
