Animal Welfare seeks information about wounded puppy

Post Date:11/27/2017 9:48 AM

Animal Welfare is looking for information about a puppy found wounded in southwest Oklahoma City.

Animal Welfare rescued the puppy after receiving a call from a resident who found him crying in his yard. He has since been named Rocky by the staff.

Rocky’s ears had been cut off at the scalp. He is recovering, healthy and happy in a foster home. His hearing is intact.

Animal Welfare is trying to find Rocky’s owners and more information about what caused his injuries.

Anyone with information about Rocky should call Animal Welfare at (405) 297-3117.

A photo of Rocky is available to the media upon request. Warning: The photo may be upsetting for some viewers.
