Testing confirms Oklahoma City’s water remains safe after Saturday’s interruption
Two days of bacteriological testing confirmed the City of Oklahoma City’s drinking water remained safe and clean during and after Saturday’s temporary service interruption. The precautionary, voluntary boil advisory issued for some customers affected by the outage expired at 10 a.m. Monday.

The City of Oklahoma City, at the recommendation of the state Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), is issuing a precautionary, voluntary boil advisory for customers whose water service was completely shut off during Saturday's temporary water service interruption.
