Construction begins on MAPS 3 and 4 OKC Fairgrounds Coliseum
City leaders broke ground today on the MAPS 3 and 4 OKC Fairgrounds Coliseum. The 216,164-square-foot coliseum will be operated by Oklahoma State Fair, Inc. at the OKC Fairgrounds. Construction is scheduled to be complete in 2025. The Jim Norick Arena will continue to host events.

Dedication for Scissortail Park’s “Light as a Feather” Dec. 21

Oklahoma City’s MAPS 3 Scissortail Park is Complete
Scissortail Park is now complete. The newly opened park extends from Oklahoma City Boulevard to the Skydance Bridge over Interstate 40 and stretches to the shore of the Oklahoma River. Altogether, Scissortail Park offers 70 acres of educational and recreational activities for OKC residents.
