The City of Oklahoma City offices will close, and most City services will not be available on June 24 to accommodate the City’s historic Champions Parade. City services will resume on June 25.
“Conducting City business in person downtown will be almost impossible on parade day, so I decided to close,” City Manager Craig Freeman said. “Closing will also make more parking available for the thousands of people attending the parade. Plus, many of our Utilities, Parks and Public Works crews are needed to support parade operations.”
Residents can still do business with the City online at okc.gov.
Closures include:
- City offices.
- No trash or recycling pickup on Tuesday. Makeup day is Wednesday, June 25. Bulky waste pickup is not affected.
- Municipal Court.
- All dockets will be cancelled for June 24. All cases will be continued without assessing a continuance fee. Defendants/attorneys will be notified of the new court date.
- Pay online at okc.gov. For details about posting bonds, visit okc.gov/courts.
