The production is centered around six mid-pubescent children who compete for the spelling championship of a lifetime. As each speller takes the mic, they give glimpses into their lives at home.
This is Isaiah William’s third production with the Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department, but his first musical. His past productions include “Gem of The Ocean,” performed at the Civic Center Music Hall, and “And Then There Were None,” directed by Taylor Lowell with assistance from Isaiah Williams and performed at the Taylor Performing Arts Center.
