Ward 2 residents are invited to a town hall meeting hosted by Councilperson James Cooper to get an update on topics such as MAPS 4, Better Streets, Safer City, parks, homelessness, public safety reform, Bus Rapid Transit and the Regional Transit Authority.
The meeting will be held from 7 – 8:30 p.m. July 26 at Will Rogers Garden Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36th St. After a 30-minute presentation, residents can visit one-on-one with City staff from Public Works, the Police Department, Parks and Recreation, Planning and EMBARK.
“Several exciting City projects are on the horizon, so I wanted to let Ward 2 residents know what to expect in the coming months,” said Councilperson Cooper. “Residents will have an opportunity to visit one-on-one with City staff and get their questions answered.”
Ward 2 is in the north-central part of Oklahoma City. The ward is bound roughly by North MacArthur Boulevard on the west, I-235 on the east, NW 23rd Street on the south and West Britton Road on the north.
Councilman Cooper was elected to City Council in April 2019.
