OKC Council Meeting Notes: April 11, 2017

The Oklahoma City Council meets at 8:30 a.m. Tuesdays on the third floor of City Hall, 200 N Walker Ave. Live broadcasts are available on Cox Channel 20 and YouTube. A recording of each meeting is then added to the City's YouTube channel. Check out the meeting calendar for agendas and schedules.

DG Productions' "Oklahoma Endurance Run," May 27-28.
Beck's Automotive's "4200 N. Western Block Party," April 23.
Cultivar Mexican Kitchen's "Cinco de Mayo," May 5.
Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma's "Peace, Love & Goodwill Festival," June 4.
Historic Film Row/Film Exchange District's "The Exchange," April 21, May 19, June 16, July 21, Aug. 18, Sept. 15, and Oct. 20.
March of Dimes Foundation's "March for Babies," May 6.
Oklahoma Family Center for Autism's "Autism Piece Walk & 5K," May 6.
SW 29th Business Improvement District Association's "SW 29th Street Children's Day Festival (festival Dia del Niño en La 29)," April 23.

Newly elected Ward 4 Councilman Todd Stone joined re-elected Ward 1 Councilman James Greiner, Ward 3 Councilman Larry McAtee and Ward 7 Councilman John A. Pettis Jr. on Tuesday to take the Council's oath of office. The Councilmen officially began four-year terms at the start of Tuesday’s meeting. The three re-elected Councilmen earned their new terms with majority victories in February’s primary election, and Councilman Stone earned his first term with a victory in last week’s runoff.
